南方科技大学讲席教授 

王晓晨，博士，现任南方科技大学讲席教授。2006-2016年任北京生命科学研究所研究员、高级研究员；2016-2023年任中科院生物物理研究所研究员。2023年加入南方科技大学。王晓晨教授主要以以秀丽线虫为模式研究溶酶体稳态平衡的调控机制和生理功能，以及溶酶体介导的凋亡细胞清除机制。研究成果发表在Nature、Science、Nature Cell Biology、Development Cell、Current Biology、Journal of Cell Biology、ELife、PLoS Biology、PNAS等重要国际学术期刊。王晓晨教授先后获得美国霍华德.休斯研究所(HHMI)国际青年科学家奖、第十届中国青年女科学家奖，入选 “国家百千万人才工程”、科技部“中青年科技创新领军人才”、中国科学院“百人计划”、国家高层次人才“万人计划”；获得国家杰出青年科学基金资助，担任国家重点研发计划首席科学家。

Dr. Wang is a Chair Professor at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech, Shenzhen). She started her laboratory at the National Institute of Biological Sciences (NIBS, Beijing) in 2006 and was promoted to an associate investigator at NIBS in 2011. Dr. Wang served as a principal investigator at Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Science, from 2016 to 2023, and then joined the School of Life Sciences at SUSTech. Dr. Wang’s laboratory investigates lysosome homeostasis and lysosome-dependent clearance of apoptotic cells using C. elegans as a model system. Her series of research have been published in Nature, Science, Nature Cell Biology, Development Cell, Current Biology, Journal of Cell Biology, ELife, PLoS Biology, and PNAS. Dr. Wang was selected as an international early career scientist of Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2012 and was awarded the 10th Young Female Scientist and Distinguished Young Scholars Scientist in 2013.
