王祥喜，博士，现任中国科学院生物物理研究员，生物大分子重点实验室副主任，国家杰出青年基金获得者。王祥喜团队结合国家公共健康重大需求，揭示病毒感染过程与免疫应答机理，并将前沿技术和科学发现应用于疫苗研制。部分研究成果被评选为“2022年中国科学十大进展”、“2019年中国科学十大进展”、“2019年中国科技十大新闻”、“2018年中国生命科学十大进展”等。曾获中国青年科技奖、中科院青年科学家奖、谈家桢生命科学创新奖、钟南山生命医学科技创新奖等荣誉。

Dr. Wang Wang Xiangxi, a scientist in the field of viral structural vaccinology, is a professor at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, deputy director of the National Laboratory of Macromolecules and a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

Wang's team reveals the virus infection process and immune response mechanism to meet the major demand of national public health, and applies cutting-edge technology and latest scientific findings to vaccine development. Some of the research achievements have been selected as "Top Ten Scientific Advances In Life Sciences of China in 2022", " Top Ten Scientific Advances In Life Sciences of China in 2019", "Top Ten News in Science and Technology in China in 2019", " Top Ten Scientific Advances In Life Sciences of China in 2018", etc. He has won the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Young Scientist Award, the Tan Jiazhen Life Science Innovation Award, and the Zhong Nanshan Life Medical Science and Technology Innovation Award ,etc.
